To whom it may concern; EDL #11 is now being launched.

I guess I was just totally wrong when I predicted this very situation months ago.

PS: if the rules still include the Euros getting to fuck any NA player out of a fair match by denying them a home/away server, then nobody in their right mind should sign up from this side of the pond. Have fun playing the "100% legit" Polish players.

Actually, while dfuk was down during the beginning of EDL #10, every Euro I played agreed to play home/away with me. It was until after dfuk came up, I decided to play on that neutral server.

Speaking of which, the rules state that people can deny to play on European servers. (5.1.7)

Don't try to paint everybody in a bad light just over one incident.

it was more than once and never should have happened at all. just like having bfg spawning in a duel tournament.

both were the side effects of admin choices that conferred advantages on certain players over others in a tournament with actual prizes most of which they bitched out of actually awarding with their novel system of warnings that nobody can appeal.

how'd you enjoy your prize for winning your division?

The only instance I can think of someone denying NA players home/away would be michaq vs. adren in the semi-finals, and I certainly didn't agree with that decision either. Duco actually played adren in American with 60 vs. 90 ping because he thought it was fair. What other instances were there?

As for BFG, I understand it's been enabled for previous years besides the last one, but that's purely based on opinion.

Well, I'm happy that the euros are letting Americans play even though it's European league. Personally, I played all my games (before I had to drop out due to unstable internet) on a neutral server even though my all opponents offered h/a. I'll do the same this season since it's interesting to see the more true skill of my opponents without latency holding them back. Also, while h/a might be a more fair situation to players with a huge ping difference between themselves, it's still not an accurate way to measure skill. It seems to measure who's the more versatile player, as the player who can play with high ping will probably win the whole match. That doesn't necessarily tell you who can win in a match with equal ping.

Just my opinions.
