Hi Elysium,

I was wondering why & was a bit concerned when my Quake II Scheduled posts were locked & moOved without prior notice. I'm glad for your heads up on the move. I can see how using the calendar features could help aid in my ease of my future Chaotic events. I'm definitely open to improvements!

Hi AK-Redman,

What is a Chaosdm mod, you ask? Take the basic Quake II game & add the "Chaos Mod" to it. The DM part stands for death match.

Here is a link that goes into detail about what new items, weapons the "Chaos Mod" adds to the Quake II game.

It's worth a look & it's totally Chaotic!! If you like Quake II & ready for a change, check it out. You won't be disappointed. It virtually ups the fun factor! Once you get a taste of Chaos, you won't go back. Well, at least, that's how I feel about it.

I downloaded it went to moo revive server, all i was doing i kept falling down on my side and doing nothing. I have no idea how to play the game

I'm glad you had fun & was challenged. Will you make a repeat appearance this weekend? You're invited back & you're an impressive railgun marksmen.

It might be fun to try the Chaotic features, weapons next time for a change of pace to get a feel for the mod. Just a suggestion, if interested.

Hello AK-Redman,

I'm trying to figure out what you might've been doing to get that result. Hmm, sounds like perhaps you might've been hitting the fakedeath key to be laying on your side.

Were you able to run around to pickup different weapons, ammo, etc & pull up weapons? Everyone starts off with weapons & green cells on the server, so it's not an issue to find a weapon.

Do you have your binds setup to the keys? If not, it's a key component to success in playing the game.

In my experience with playing Q2 mods, when you're connecting to a server without the mod already loaded it doesn't seem to run either the main or autoexec.cfg files in the mod's folder. Once I figured that out I would just run them manually in the console and my control issues were solved.
