You did that? Haha... This is the type of shit I do when I'm bored. I don't remember this game but, those controls are horrible you're right. I'd give it a go if I could emulate it onto my hacked wii.Right now I've been playing Goldeneye the past day or two, through my wii/with a gamecube controller instead of n64... before that it was contra. the version of goldeneye I have is pretty tough though; all the enemies have wallhack-esque awareness and fire at you the instant a pixel of you is visible to them.. as in, they're following you with their guns pointed out through the walls opposed to doing their reaction animation, lol.the scientists are a lot more dumb in this version too, and way harder to kill.
My wii is hacked, and it's a hacked version of goldeneye... I play nes, snes, genesis, sega32x, genesis, ps1, n64 games all through my WII, with either the wii remote or a gamecube controller. All you need is a nicely sized SD card; a game like goldeneye is only like, 20 mb probably. PS1 games are typically 300-400mb when in readable format to whatever emulator I use. I wasn't just joking around when I said it's a lot harder than the real game, they REALLY have wallhack on. Their weapons follow you perfectly behind walls, and fire upon the slightest pixel if you being visible. To compare in that sense, the enemies respond faster than the "drone guns" in the game. And the scientists are far more dumb, it's actually quite challenging. But, I'm using a gamecube controller and have better control/movement since n64 controllers wore out in a matter of months. Plus it's just a much better controller, more ergonomic. Random note, but I enjoy the weird circle-strafing physics in goldeneye.Anyway, I don't support pirating old games or anything. 99.99% of the old games I download and play I have bought/owned before in the past. It's just really convenient to not blow in cartridges while staring at a blinking light gray to black screen
I was playing q2 for n64, on wii yesterday and with a gamecube controller... could strafe and speed jump just fine with the analog stick and c stick. There were no circle physics... Oh, and the rom I had also possessed some glitchy wallhack type thing(it was a full working wallhack, but there were a good bit of glitches with the walls/textures).
