To give you another reason not to pretend that I'm deleting them I made this redirection topic for you, follow the link. Continue posting this demo with the sole purpose of talking shit and ducking out of matches if you wish; it will keep getting moved to General Smack Talk.

Maybe move the first one back here?  Just to have in the demo section?

It's kinda a clusterfuck I know, but if all the demos posted to flame other players were taken out of this section it would be much smaller and alot less interesting.
I was surprised by just how many demos there actually were in the smack talk section.   The demo section always seemed to serve that purpose just fine.

A would post a demo playing B, 
B would comment (good or bad, make excuses etc)
C would pop in and hang on A's nuts
A would agree with C
D would tell them they all suck, and tell C to get off of A's nuts
E would come in and accuse A of hacking
F (really B with a new account) would back up E

admin would come in and point out that F was really B
G,H,I, and J would come in for the drama and shit would really hit the fan.


So on and so forth.  It was fun

I disagree, but only because the comparison you make isn't up to par. The TDM demos section of 2006 is an entirely different animal than what kyuss tries to pull. The flames were interesting, amusing, and entertaining in the past, yes, but... ABCDEFGH etc are all gone except for C and E, and QRSTU and V don't even play TDM. To compare kyuss(the 'antagonist' in this situation) to the notoriously entertaining one, [TC]Granny , is just an insult to granny's memory(you didn't compare, but I'm just stating this). Kyuss refuses to play people for years on end and just waits for the right time where he feels they are vulnerable(drunk and only on dm1, probably aliased)... Granny on the other hand played everyone and didn't avoid matches/maps/challenges at all costs. Not to mention he was actually funny, and when he lost he'd just call them a walling nub.(= entertainment)

I feel very silly enabling this behavior as a moderator, but I'd STILL do it if his intention wasn't to completely get a rise out of someone who is far better than him, all the while refusing ANY sort of challenge because he knows he'll lose. I think the whole refusing 500 challenges in a row, then playing one time out of a year when he feels confident, gives the drunken excuse a good bit of merit. It's painfully obvious. . . not to mention for the sake of anyone interpreting my actions as being self-biased, I have left his only two wins he has gotten on me for everyone to see. Both when I was close to black-out drunk(see 2nd sentence in this paragraph), whoopee I am so ownt.

Anyway... I was hoping to let that demo remaining in general smack talk serve as a learning experience for kyuss, discouraging the unwarranted flames as well as promoting him to actually/possibly play adrenaline again if he wishes to have a demo to post in the TDM demos section.

That's my justification for doing what I did in that specific scenario, and I don't feel like I'm out of line by doing so... you made a decent point but, like I said I feel like comparison isn't proper. So you're right, it WAS fun.
