I thought TrueDouchebag earned himself complete and total excommunication from Tastyspleen. Dunno if he's been playing on the servers recently, but he's definitely back in the Tastyspleen IRC channel under the name "magic". I was under the impression part of his lifetime ban included IRC also.

He's indeed still blocked by the wallfly ban.

One of the admins had been talking with him on IRC over a period of months, and had advocated monitoring his behavior for awhile, with an eye toward a potential provisional server unban sometime in the future.

I'm not totally sold on this, but I'd probably go by an admin vote (at some point.)

Started off with name spoofing (repeatedly)

Then a lengthy campaign of further ban evasion & invite spamming, via proxies, this sort of stuff:

Eh, well...

I wasn't active at the time, or chose to not be involved in ffa wallhack drama like I sometimes do, when he was busted for wallhacking in 2009ish. I do know what hack he was using though, and it was fairly primitive / the easiest one you can find online basically(doesn't work at all just about on servers that have the visibility check set to "1"). At the time(if I had to guess), he was probably caught up in whatever drama happens on the railz server and felt like being a little prick about it, found some wallhack, then to my knowledge boasted about using it in order to piss people off. Someone who is doing this isn't going to care about using up chances quadz' gives them, during the aforementioned time period.... I think quadz may be considering this, as well as the likely fact that with forced AC and years later the guy just wants to be allowed to play on a server that Razor doesn't join 24/7 without spamming/crashing it.... my bet would be that he's harmless. I really DON'T think he wants to be banned again.

And no, I'm not the person quadz was referring to, if anyone thought that. He's actually asked me to take his case to quadz, but I refused. I assumed he was quite the thorn in quadz's backside, and I felt i'd be doing nothing but insulting quadz's intelligence by coming to his defense just off the present climate. But, there's my take on it. The worst case scenario by allowing him back probably doesn't worry quadz so much also.

additionally, I have witnessed what was most likely ramirez pretending to be razor aliasing as true.douchebag, pestering the real true.douchebag through name spoofs, spamming, server crashing, etc...

..or maybe it was really razor, who knows. . .

Indeed. If he were unbanned and reverted to douche-mode, it'd take all of 30 seconds to re-apply the ban.

'true.douchebag' is very low skill player = cant be razor even without cheats

dunno about razor damage on forum (i guess quadz know what is punishment for that kind of behavior) but about wh/aimbot: there was several ppl in q2 history who got caught even in official games and got redemption :

BOD Ricky (even whole clan BOD was suspected in some point)

avi (avider) used wallhack at age 13 but later cleaned his 'act' and become 1st member of KTA (kontula.fi) and later with Wizards.fi was euroq2l winner but on his way to become 2x2 league winner was stoped by another 'norman.pl' admin. On personal level he was 3rd in same season in EDGE league and EDL league and he is better know as Wizard.gerppa
