No, the problem here is the troll named Fader is being allowed to come back, after this fucking final straw that's about to break the camel's back!
Fader is a repeat offender, he's already been banned on my server which didn't stop him from fucking with it this time! He clearly hasn't learned anything from previous bans, and he's back to doing what he knows how to do best! He's been banned before on all of TS and he's laughed it off as a little disappointing! This time it has to be more then just that, it has to be permanent ban with a black-hole to make sure this never happens again to any server!

Guys guys, everyone could have afforded to be more diplomatic here in their tones! What really matters is that Fader fully exposed his true nature and that he has now run out of cards to play from this day forth as everyone in this community now knows and acknowledges what he has done, and Quadz has drew a big red line in the sand, there is nothing more Fader can do. Perhaps you could PM or email the relevant portions of the logs to me?  I'm not going to be going on a scavenger hunt while I'm here at work.  And frankly even if I weren't working this weekend it would still save me time if you'd send whatever logs you're talking about.  I'm somewhat puzzled since if Fader is banned from whale already, how was he on whale talking to Razor?  Or are you talking about different logs than whale server logs?  Seems it would be so much easier if you'd forward me whatever logs you're referring to than have me sit here guessing.

Produce the logs or info that helps narrow it down. Your demands and accusations require proof. Do not make another claim without proof. You've seen how effective it is by providing proof WITH your accusation demonstrated with Fader. What do you want? This to be a victory for the remaining handful of players or the trolls ready to destroy servers and the mods that are left? It's a miracle that there's still some decent players left who just want to have fun and play in peace no matter what mod! Banning this troll would be a drop in the bucket, there are many trolls that will take his place unless of course a solid message is sent to put them back in their rightful place!

If your paying console for your server then i can see the frustration. However console has an overall "laissez faire" way of doing things around here. always has been and always will be. However he is relatively fair in his rulings when it does require it, on the whole. there are some things I Disagree with console over. However it is his server, he pays the bills.. he isn't obligated to provide any assistance or extra effort unless he deems it necessary. he does sometimes go above and beyond the call in most situations on his behalf. don't take this the wrong way though, That's just that way it is.  Have you thought about just becoming an independent server without an affiliation with the TS servers?

Probably not because it would be more difficult to maintain such order If one does not possess the technical know-how. (for example my server) He has assisted me many times with problems as well. he is not obligated to do so. i expect him to do his part to mediate this situation on fair terms. i don't know about a perma-ban though. i try to have a thicker skin when it comes to antics. that's just me though. sometimes you just have to let some shit slide, to cope with issues. makes things easier in my experience.

I don't know the details of how your server is setup.  

If your server resides on Quad's machine and he is paying the bills, you really need to tone it down some.
Quads is far more patient than I would be.  If you acted like that to me, I would shut your server down until you learned how to talk to me respectfully.
You have every right to be pissed about Fader & Razor, but don't come on here bad mouthing Quads and making demands about a server you don't pay for.
Quads told you that he has a tight deadline he has to meet at work, he is willing to help you and it will get resolved faster if you could help him a little.  What do you do, you bitch - stop being an ASS.

It used to be a paid server back in 2008 / 2009 (paid for by p1, not ruiner.)

My general policy is to provide free shell accounts & servers for Q2 mod developers, and since ruiner has been actively developing the weapons mod, I stopped sending invoices to p1. Thus, the server has been provided for free since November 2009.

In any case, I'm a bit confused about ruiner's ranting, since he already has FULL CONTROL over the whale server. He has direct access to the server config, and the logfiles, rcon password, etc.

No decision the TS admins make with regard to Fader, has any effect on ruiner's already-existing ability to ban players from whale.

So I'm a little perplexed about the level of histrionics on display in this thread.
