Can we have a FFA server that only has one map, dm8. sort of like Mage Warehouse but I'd rather play on Tastyspleen. I know we have a DM server but I want to be able to join anytime and it'll be DM8 cuz in my opinion thats the best FFA map ever.

Yeah, DS has one, and it seems fine as far as I can tell. That'd make 3 DM8 only servers (Mage being the third). I do agree that that map for FFA rocks hardcore though =)

why dont we just have a server for everything

and everyone would be happy
seriously, how many servers do you guys need, arnt ya happy with what we have? we need more to fill up pygmy or xatrix

and btw who even plays pygmy, sheridan, or goatass? these ports are always empty it seems

A full-time strike or jail1 server would be better in my opinion, but q2dm8 is by far one of the best maps ever, I agree. Ditch some of the useless servers, and replace it with a useful one like this.

And then maybe *we* will finally be on the right track.

like noted above.. DS and Mage have DM8 servers running, it's nice that the commuinity wants these optional servers as well, but to keep the scene somewhat strong, we should allow DS and Mage to run their servers without us trying to get a slice of the cake on their ideas.. we have a strong commuinity of players, i don't think we should distrup others whom still show enough intrest in Q2 to have thier own servers running.. as for pygmy, I've played there on and off.. it's the settings I enjoy, and very few others as well.

i agree with mya. i see no reason to add servers that already exist. the community is too small as it is.

in my mind, i'd love to see the Ds servers connected to Tastyspleen by goto, but i know they certainly have a different way of admining, and im not Console or Ds, so its none of my business.
