Don't know if this is a joke, but... I used AprQ2 in euroq2l as well. If it IS banned, then it's a really stupid decision, because AprQ2 is the best client imo.

I don't recall you ever banning aprq2. I used that client for all of my games in NADL, and no one said a word.

err, not banning aprq2, but forcing r1q2 + anticheat.. taken from the 2v2 event rules:

-R1Q2 with anticheat is required.

Why only r1q2? What about q2pro or egl, or aprq2 which are all supported with anticheat? It just seems pretty dumb to have people who are most likely legit to change their client even though they've used it for years.

Yes, but APR has a history of being banned from leagues for being the most exploited client. It's not the same comparison.

Aside from that, if you're not good with r1q2 + your settings right + a good pak, then using aprq2 isn't going to make you any better.

AprQ2 has a lot of features that R1Q2 doesn't have. To me, AprQ2 is the best client, and if I couldn't use AprQ2 in leagues, I don't think I would sign up at all. I would rather not play if I had to switch to a different client.

If you're saying that R1Q2 is just like AprQ2, then you're dead wrong. For instance, I use mouse3 for my +back key, so naturally, I move the mouse wheel a lot. In R1Q2, if you move the mouse wheel and you don't have anything bound to them, it gives this annoying messages constantly:

MWHEELUP is unbound, hit F4 to set.
MWHEELDOWN is unbound, hit F4 to set.

..unless you unbind them. I don't feel like typing "unbind mwheelup;unbind mwheeldown" every time I open up Q2, and in AprQ2, I don't get those messages. There's also lots of other cool messages, like cl_mychatcolor that changes the color of your conchars without having to go in there and edit them manually. cl_gunalpha, con_alpha, and cl_hudalpha that makes your HUD, conback, and even your gun with "hand 0" transparent. Not to mention gl_celshading, cl_maptime, ignorenick, ignoretext, cl_drawlocs, gl_fog, gl_motionblur, aviexport (!!!), and tons more commands that R1Q2 doesn't have.

Also, there's this nifty feature where if you type a command in AprQ2 and press tab, if gives you all the commands that are related to it. Here's only a small percentage of the commands in Apr, so take your pick and try to find out what the commands I've listed actually do.
