Diablo 3, who's playing it and what do you think so far?

Had to do another thread for this amazing game, like there was for Skyrim....personally I think it's easier than D2 and it can get quite repetitive...and once you get up to level 50 or above and are playing on Hell level with 4 people (blizzard made a mistake and having 4 people in a server on Hell in any act makes it almost like a pre-inferno game)...you HAVE to be with 3 other people that know what they are doing and actually know how to play their classes, have great(not just good, but great)gear, and don't run off on their own all the time, or else just the mini-bosses will shit on you easily...pone of the four main bosses with 4 people on Hell is fucking craaaazy hard....I just killed Azmodan and my goal by the end of the day today is to get to Inferno and bout half-way through....my barb has 38k hp at level 53 and with his shout, has 42k about...if anyone else plays and is around my level at all my name on there is Xaviell...so add me up and lets tear some shit up since I don't have work today or tomorrow for a change .

What are your thoughts on the game?  Do you like it, not like it?  Have you noticed any major bugs/issues at all so far that needs to be fixed?  What class do you think is best for solo'ing, grouping and/or tanking?

pretty fun game

got a lv60 monk, lv59 wizard, 41 barb, and some low level witch dr and demon hunter lol

if you are around 50 and getting your ass kicked, get some gear off the AH and search for lvl 60 gear with level requirement reduced, then farm act 1 of hell a few times for money easy as cake

inferno is a total bitch though... monk has like 6000 defence, 15k attack, 53% dodge chance, a really solid dps and survival build, and the rare packs still own me in act 1 :/ need to farm a bit more for a better gear set...

overall barb seems the easiest, wizard the hardest, monk was probaby second easiest and is my favorite to play

the actual bosses are wayyyyyyyyy easy with barb and monk, some of the ranged classes that are more squishy can have some issues.... but the bosses are still far easier than the rare packs in hell and inferno... the only one that ever gives me trouble is belial, only boss that managed to kill my monk before reaching inferno (died to him in hell)

havent tried making a hardcore character yet... seems like too much of a risk that i dont want to take because some times ill just die cause you log in and lag hits and you are dead before you can even move

I only have like 15 hours of play time, up to level 58 half way through...I've been grouping with this one chick since like level 10 and basically been duo'in the whole game aside from the player here and there that joins and departs, who is a demon hunter and we tear shit up pretty good...I just dropped like 150k on AH doing a full upgrade on all her gear, the weapons being the most expensive because I was tired of watching her get smacked once by any boss and dying having only 14k hp...I got her up to 37k hp and 18k dps and it's made things a breeze now....My next class is gunna be a monk for sure as that is the class I have always picked playing ANY rpg game (Everquest being my first I made a human monk), they are always a fun class to play on every game......although my barb has been hella fun to play so far, having 52k hp I hardly ever die anymore....I have to have two of those 3-set blue mini-bosses attack me at once, one being a waller and the other having the arcane turret type thing in order for them to really fuck me up...the trap me and rape me with those rotating purple lazer type deals haha...I have yet to see a level 60 barb with more hp than me which is sad....most have under 30k hp which I don't understand at all how they made it through inferno heh...whelp back to the grind, on act 4 on hell and halfway through 58 so I'm getting to 60 and to inferno tonight before I lay down.

The other irritating thing so far is how many times I've played each map, I still can't remember which way to go half the time and the maps don't even randomize like they did in D2 heh....I tried looking for a website that had all D3 maps on it or a map hack cuz it pisses me off so damn much trying to find the ent's to caves for the quest because I somehow manage to ALWAYS go the opposite way of the ent EVERY time then end up running around the entire fucking map til I find the ent which is always the last blacked out part heh...I shoulda been taking SS's of the maps as I finish em all heh...especially Act II, which is the worst fucking Act of them all imo....The Dahlgur Oasis is the worst map of them all, being it's so fucking big and takes forever to travel around, specially with my dumbass and not being able to find the ent's or remembering where they're at ever cuz I'm a faggot (bundle of sticks).

in inferno, rather than stacking vitality, ya need to stack all resist quite a lot, much better survival with high all resist than a crazy amount of vitality

only thing vitality will do is keep you from getting one hit

just checked playtime on my barb after rick said he was 58 after 15 hours... at lv50 my playtime is quite low barbs level up pretty quick, nice

wiz has the most playtime... cause i listened to all the story and explored EVERYTHING lol like 60 hours XD

Just got to 60 last night and basically solo'd Diablo in hell level by myself even though I had two level 59 DH's with me...they kept fucking dying because they don't know how to play their characters so after the first 15 mins of rezzing them like 8 times a piece, I eventually told em I'm done and it took me like 40 minutes and had a LOT of close calls, but I was able to pull it off....luckily I was able to completely switch my skills around after I was done rezzing those idiots so I could pull it off....inferno is gunna be a huge pain in my dick, can see it now.

Enjoy your piss-poor skill trees (or lack thereof) and no assigning of attributes.
The majority have no clue what a real RPG even is any more.

the skill system in diablo 3 does play better than you would initially expect if you hate on d3, you just havent given it a chance, its a very fun game

i do have tl2 pre-ordered, but im far less excited about it
