This douchebag comes in tourney4 tonight where every player wanted to play nades and blaster only, just for fun, so I set game up to do so.  He plays a match, wins, then becomes a sore loser about it and says he doesn't want a rematch.  Then says that we are owning the server and he is reporting us to admin, as if his opinion means shit.  After all, sure we were "owning" the server...ALL OF US WANTED NADES + BLASTER ONLY.  Fucking retard.

This isn't the only issue.  On jumpmod, when we tried to change maps yesterday, douchebag kept voting no on every single vote chance to intentionally make it not pass.

Can something be done about this shithead?     He's claimed he changed from being a shitbag but his recent behavior shows anything but.

All he did was complain about sever settings & use his voting option to vote against something he didn't want?  Not much of a loser to me.  Maybe whining a bit but so are you.   That doesn't even seem fair calling him names.   

Reminds me of ETQW players who would go on a server as a group & not use vehicles then complain when someone joins & uses vehicles, then vote to temp ban the vehicle player.

Sounds like typical Slugs to me. I agree with voting no for every vote, though. It's pretty gay. Also, Friar, it doesn't matter what SLUGS wants. A few days ago there were around 10 people on the same server and everyone wanted more time, but we couldn't because Slugs kept voting no, and one no vote cancels out the vote. There were up to eight "yes"'s before slugs voted no. Even Killa said that jumpmod needs more active admins for things like that.

Slugs is, was, and always will be a douche. But it doesn't sound like anything he did was all that bad. As friar suggested, if the server is set up wrong then fix the server.

he loves to mash his teamjoin binds whenever a match ends so he can be the first one on a team and then fuck everyone around on the server with shitty map votes.

one day a month or so ago, he sat there and painstakingly bound an alias to vote kick everyone else on the server and then hit it as soon as he was the only person on a team after a map reset that we finally agreed to because he fucked up the match being played.

all told, his ability to vote in any mod should be curtailed if he can't do anything with it but grief people and act like a retard.

His ability to vote on all servers should be temp-removed until he can stop being such a shithead.

Also, who runs the jump server?  I agree the percentile to get a map passed shouldn't be the entire server, but 75% or whatever like someone else suggested.

edit:  I really really wish I would've condumped that shit the other day.  I have it on demo but would be a pain in the ass to find it, d/l a program and edit it down...next time, and undoubtedly there will be one, I'll condump it for admins.

Anyone know the config setting?  I tried `strings jump/gamei386.real.so | grep -i vote` but didn't see anything obvious.

Ex, I am the admin for the Jump server. And I understand where you're coming from, but it's totally within Slug's rights to do what he has been doing. He's just a griefer and there will always be people like him. And the only time where a "no" vote vetoes the rest of the votes is when 35 minutes has already been added to a map, so it still is kind of fair for him to do so. (You could also vote to kick him if the problem was really that bad). And Console, I have no idea how to modify the jump mod files because you always tell me they're not open source! It would be really fun to tweak them though.

Hey Nephi.  The problem is we WERE vote-kicking him, but he'd come right back.  Plus he has admin now on top of it so not a lot can be done if he decides to be a prick.

However, the last times we've played recently he's been acting more normal so I've let it go.  Maybe he was on a meth binge or something.
