Map Making ?

Hey guys, new to the site/forum. Just getting back into Quake 2, and I want to make some maps. Can anyone help me out here ?

I can help a lil,  deff recomend worldcraft..  I think I have the zips around somewhere...

heres about all I've been able to do,  playing just seems to eat away the time

kewl56n - The best Q1 dm map I ever made.   Someday I will convert it over to q2 I swear!
thefix07 - first doodle in worldcraft after coming back to Q2.
thefix09 - just a diff version of the map,  stretched out to make it alot bigger.

Tastyspleen is very alive but there's not so much activity in the map making department. If you're serious about learning to map I'd recommend these forums:

All right, thanks guys. Yeah I could really pop out some fresh maps. I used to make maps for Counter Strike, although I never added them to any sites for other people to play. The only problem I am having now is getting the maps to compile to bsp. Can someone help ?
