Ruiner has seen very well every kind of player that exists in Quake II multi-player for at least a decade and knows what experienced players and railers are, I can testify to that.

Strange mod. I don't like this "heartbeat" sound. The player who is on low life can't be stealthy, as that "sound" can be heard around corners if I recall correctly.

I may rarely see eye to eye with ruiner, but you think an admin trying to empirically verify the existence of alleged hacks that bypass AC, is somehow equivalent to you joining up with Razor to rcon attack a server? Please.

I was thinking more along the lines of, "Asking Razor for hacks that bypass anticheat to prove that I could cheat so he can shut up everyone who's making fun of him".

Maybe I shouldn't have worded it like that. It should have been something along the lines of, "He also has suspicious ties with Razor, like me." I never meant it to come across that way.

This forum has two camps/sides, and you're free to choose one but you are doing it at your own risk, because if you do, you'll get constantly attacked and ridiculed it seems.
One side supports plain DM or downright rail only matches, and the other is the carefree modded kind, which has always been attacked for attracting the so called newbs.
There's been all sorts of resentment and anguish directed towards mods that have done well and at times taken players and spotlight away from DM or TDM.
What some fail to understand is that some people just want to have carefree fun, and more options, without resorting to gut wrenching rivalries, and constant server bickering.

I like how there's always the same group of people taking cracks at me, most of who has never played me, and don't even really know me. They're so eager to to jump in and cast their judgement or even defend a known trouble maker, a troll judas who has even been caught using server exploits together with a known cheater to attack servers, in a day where there are so few. I on the other hand have been running multiple successful weapon servers for many years, and I attained extensive technical knowledge of the quake engine and its code while developing a mod that has survived while others have become extinct. My only crime has been my drive to keep certain forbidden parts of Quake2 alive, while having to fend off constant attacks aimed at its destruction.

Or perhaps the reason some have beef with me is because of the side I've taken on certain matters, like my belief in God and commitment to moral values, or the fact that on some occasions I've stepped in to defend certain individuals to whom I saw injustice being done to. If the trolls had their way, they would be happy to see Wodx die off altogether, as well as Xatrix or maybe even Chaos. I believe I don't have to justify my personal beliefs or compromise them even one bit to make some forum trolls happy, because I know what I'm doing is right. But oh well, I guess I just don't have a clue, I must not even know what rail is, and I started playing quake yesterday:

These days I barely even play, and naturally I'm rusty. Nowadays I just keep an eye out for trouble makers and bots from spectator mode, while maintaining the servers, and I think by now I know when I spot something fishy.
