Hi everyone!

I hope everyone is starting off their week well.

This will be the section I will post the future Quake2 Chaos scheduled games for those who's interested.

I think you may have listed the server address wrong in the news post for tonight and tomorrow.

I found this one on the server list which works "75.84.59.55:27910"

I had no idea, the Mootown Chaos Revived Server IP# had changed. I have a direct connection & don't use any server list. So thanks for that. I appreciate you bringing it to my attention.

New Q2 Chaos Gaming Schedule:

Hey Quakers!

We shooting for a Marathon Chaos Frag Fest, @ Mootown Chaos Revived Server: IP# 75.84.59.55:27919

This week we're planning on a 4-Day Chaotic Bash, starting Mon. Apr. 23rd, Tues. Apr. 24th, Thurs. Apr.26th & Fri. Apr. 27th @ 6:00pm PST.

be careful bout having the event too often, if its too often people dont see it as special and will just have the "eh ill just catch it next time" attitude

I can appreciate your thoughts on this Vae. I appreciate feedback.

I'm going to take the time, here and now to inform the Quake 2 community...on how we do things on our end. Our Chaos games are being scheduled regularly, usually weekly...because this is what works. It's not just some sort of a special occasion sort of thing, like once in awhile.

Maybe on the Q2 servers, you guys don't need to schedule games but we do for Chaos. Without the dates/times & notifications, the games just wouldn't happen on their own. There just isn't a big enough Chaos player base left...so I find scheduling...a necessity & best of all...it works.

We've been having the Chaos games...going on over a 1 year & a half now. Will be 2 yrs in Aug. Not bad, even though it takes a little more doing to make it all happen. It's worth the extra effort, imo.

I'd like to keep announcing /informing potential (interested ) Q2 players on a weekly basis to the scheduled Chaos games. Let the players decide if they want to participate or not. It's ok if they want to opt out. No pressure. It's just another option for them & they're invited to join in the fun if they so choose to do so.
