Dunno why but goto sometimes just sits there and doesn't send me where I wanna go.  Tonight was especially bad - I couldn't goto to any server earlier.  I had to find the IPs manually off the website and punch 'em in.

Wallfly's a good program usually, but this happens from time to time with me for some reason.

WallFly has some limitations arising from the way it remotely interfaces with the Q2 server and with q2admin.

When goto appears to do nothing, try temporarily changing your playername to something that can't be confused with anyone else's on the server.  (For best results, use letters/numbers, not punctuation to achieve the uniqueness.)

For example, I'd expect goto to almost never work for that player who just goes by "D".  There's presumably almost always going to be some other player connected with a 'd' in their name.  It's an unfortunate limitation, but it's currently a lesser-of-available-evils approach given other q2admin options.

wallyfly can fail a time or 2 sometimes... if you were on ra2 by chance, you need to open console and type goto server in there directly.. it won't work in mm1 or mm2

I didn't know this. Useful info to have! I doubt it'll come up for my name but as evidenced here it might affect some!

A workaround has been added; should work better with short playernames now.
