Who do you guys think are the top 10 (best all around) in North America, to the best of your knowledge and the players/demos you've seen since the start of your q2 career.

again, it's hard to base anything like this one, for reasons that what are you grading them upon, individual, or team skill, personality or assistance provided to others playing the game?

this stuff is better categorized.

kyuss was a beast in 1v1. seen him own mezzo by 30 along with other members of the old bb> and _

yeah, luci could fall under honorable mention. this is my opinion though, you're supposed to list your own too.

Well if inactive players count, you can include just about the whole dz clan with khan, nogame, bf22, vai, and a few others to start.  Also MAD:SD deserves a mention.  Depending on how far back you go, Thresh, Maka, and Immortal were great when there were way more players than there are today.

I have no idea what my top 10 list would be.  Naymlis would be near the top though.  Despite his semi-move to Q4 he is still capable of beating any active NA Q2 players.

Then there's Europe, which is a whole different ballgame and not what this thread is about.

that's a nice list ghost. i wouldn't go as far as to say rigg5 was above me but other than that it's hard to argue against your list .

final 3 are good players but really played well on dm1 to be honest. flarez could easily rape on other maps but when he plays on them he basically messes around.

kyuss was solid in 1v1 , but definately not a beast he beat me twice out of like 12 games. Kyuss was definately a very solid team player though.

if it was 1v1 I agree with DaHanGs list pretty much, it sux that dueling is pretty much the only kind of competitive q2 dm anymore so its somewhat hard to guage their ability as an overall player....

sean's top 10 1v1 players of all time... (NA only)

1::nogame - man there wasn't a time back in the day when I didnt see nogame raping 1v1 ogl open or some tourney, usually they didnt even come close to doing anything against him
2::naymlis - tim's the man at 1v1, no question
3::shells - shlz career at q2 has almost spanned 10 years, he rules, he should be the first inductee in the q2 hall of fame
4::DaHanG - man how many times have I lost to this guy
5::doze - another guy that has done well in q2
6::flarez - Ive seen this guy play for like 7 years or something, and he still makes my jaw drop when I see him go to work in a 1v1 on the edge
7::uNity - HcT ruled ;D
8::rigg5 - rigg5 is always a solid player, his 3rd place at qcon 05 really impressed me
9::khan - I used to talk to khan all night long on ICQ back in the day when he was in f8l|, a very cool guy
10::Fajin - a really cool guy, I enjoy being clanned with him

honorable mention... mezzo, b1ood, silentdeath, kaitech, remer, sinurgy, acidrainn, and kyuss (he is a cool guy no matter what anyone says ;D)

1::nogame - did he know how to lock everything down, look at any dz. demo from his pov and you'll see what I mean
2::DaHanG - gawd I dont know how many times he's gotten a railgun and taken my whole team apart, he seems to rape in any game too, gg dude :D
3::jasonian - I used to talk to this guy all night on icq too, he was one hell of a teamplayer, held HcT at the #1 spot of ogl open for a long time
4::khan - I wish he still q2ed
5::shells - an awesome player
6::sinurgy - his teams strats are flawless.... unless of course he's playing against DaHanG's team :P
7::Fajin - man his railing on dm3 in a 4v4 is nuts
8::shaftian - another guy I wish still q2ed
9::naymlis - Ive seen him play lots of positions, always owned
10::wafflez - I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone else mention his name, I guess he's somewhat of a newcomer to a "Top 10" list but man waff rocks j00! besides, you gotta love anyone that was in s8 :P
