Jeff Cease was their original guitarist on the first album "Shake Your Money Maker". Marc Ford came on board before they recorded the awesome follow-up album "Southern Harmony and Musical Companion". They started to record an album back in 97 and somehow Marc Ford completely fucked it all up and they ended up firing him outright and never finished recording or releasing the album. The band finally called it quits for a few years and then had the bright idea to bring Marc Ford back when they got back together in 2005. So it's not surprising at all the guy would break his contract and completely fuck the band just before a big tour like that. The guy is a prick and was still pissed over being fired back in 1997. Doesn't really matter who they have on guitar though, it's always been Chris and Rich Robinson writing all the tunes for the most part.
