I posted this to my fb earlier, kind of incredible (in a horrifyingly awful way) - what drives people to do this type of drug, when it does these things to you and they full well know it? it's a mind boggler, and it makes me realise how lucky I am to live where I do, and temporarily makes all my problems seem trivial. Of course, within a day or two i'll be back to moaning and bitching about my first world problems but still, pretty nasty shit.

If you watch the video, this russian kid goes and gets the ingredients required at your average 24h pharmacy.

from what I recall basically it's a type of eye drops,  coedine and another chemical, you literally cook it in petrol. fucked up. cheaper than heroin, which is one of the biggest reasons they seem to use it.

Well, if people can use a drug like Jenkem, then they can definitely use something like this.

Don't know how it got the name. It has nothing to do with crocodiles, other than that it eats your flesh away.

Desomorphine made in this way is "krokodil" (crocodile), reportedly due to the scale-like appearance of skin of its users

Meh, doesn't look "scaly" to me. Oh well, doesn't make the drug any less dangerous.

Saw this a while back. There's something about red phosphorous being used in the mixture, gleaned from matchsticks heads/strikes.

It has a flesh rotting effect. One extreme case a guy was missing most of the meat off his leg from half of the knee down to his ankle. The ankle was practically dead flesh.

Scary yet fascinating stuff.

I read some other articles about this drug awhile ago. It's a dirt cheap alternative to heroin, so some druggies that are desperate for a high get krokdoil when can't afford heroin. Their drug addiction must be so strong because the high you get from krokodil doesn't last as long and death is imminent within 1-3 years.
