Does this look like a wall hack to you??

Punk_FAS and I were playing this guy the other night and Punk thought he was using a wall hack. I saw him on the server today and decided that I d spec him and record a demo.  So, what do you guys think?

It looks incredibily suspicious, the way he just knows where everyone is, and shoots at places where those guys are most of the time, and always knows the right weapon for the situation, either that guy knows the map very well, and is a very good player, and very sound based (to know where they are), or he's wallhacking.. the thing is he's played on tastyspleen for a while now and still hasnt been banned or anything, so surely if he was console wouldve caught him by now? <my two pound coins>

I'm assuming that you're suspecting wallhack because he often stands still and targets corners/openings. I saw way too many instances where he was watching an opening and either no one appeared, or the opponent appeared at a different one that he should have seen if he were using a wallhack.
So my answer is NO wallhack.

Oh and Panjoos demo of him is very suspect. First of all it's not the original, it's been recammed. Watch it with the quake2 3.20 client and tell me where his weapon fire sounds are coming from.

From this demo and others, I think the clear conclusion was that Ax does not hack.

He is not cheating......he is just a good player.....any frag I get on him is so satisfying...I have to go for a smoke after

Hax2Grind has many issues but cheating is not one of them.  An incredible player who needs an in-game personality as clean as he plays.     ( Surprised you could catch him in for a whole game. )

He even does really good on maps that are new..  like that set of maps made for some tournament a few months ago.
Played him on one of those the first week they were put on the servers,  and he still makes amazing shots.

Not saying that to say he haxs btw,  its possible to make good sound judgments even on a map you dont know.

yeah, once you figure out the basics of shooting corner shots, its the same on any map.  i think once you develop your mind to think that way, you probably even learn maps faster.  You basically stop using your eyes so much, and start to depend on the force.  USE THE FORCE LUKE!

We should learn from the best, not try to get them banned. Ax is an awesome player, nuff said.
