What the hell... that's like... the most awkward party ever. Every time there's a small interlude in the music where the thumping bass drum stops, they all stop and look around like, "Okay, what do we do with ourselves until the music starts again?"

Yeah that video is weird I think they are waiting for the drop or something.  I just watched a documentary on black metal, pretty crazy scene.  It was called Until the Light Takes Us

I don't think I need to see any documentary about the scene. I remember pretty much all the ghastly and grizzly shit that went along with it back in the 90's. Back when they were burning churches, killing homosexuals and jews, back when the vocalist of Marduk hacked the vocalist from Mayhem to pieces with a fucking broad sword on his own front doorstep etc etc. All in all, it's a pretty shitty genre in my opinion (I guess that's kinda supposed to be the point though), but occasionally I'll give some of it a listen.

You might mean the episode the vocalist and former bassist of Mayhem, which currently plays/played in Burzum killed eyronymus from mayhem?

Yeah, Varg Vikernes (aka Count Grishnack or whatever) was the one that killed Euronymous, either by stabbing him about 30 times with a knife or a sword, not sure. He was paroled back in 09 I think, by all means a pretty light sentence. Not sure how long his parole will last. I doubt he'll personally do anything to violate his parole, at this point if he wanted someone else dead, he could easily arrange it with no ties back to himself. Not that he would, he seems to have steered away from many of his former more radical beliefs since his stint in prison. As far as I know, the days of "Norwegian Satanic crime families" committing public acts of violence, terrorism and arson are over.
