Leagues?

TS should host some leagues, like q2scene.net does!

The leagues page in TS is all blanl D:

problem is, the top players that end up being the ones left with like the last 4 or something, all lose interest and stop playing before a league finishes...

the best turn out possible is with weekend or single day cups, but no one is putting them together (haunted talks bout it a lot but hes a lazy mofo )

i personally would love some leagues for some 2v2 maybe, 4v4 MIGHT be ok? and 1v1 definitely maybe some instagib would do good too... perhaps something FFA oriented just due to the player base being mostly ffa in NA

and i know some others would love some leagues... it just comes down to: "cool theres  a league!" *draws out over weeks/months* "whatever happened to that league thing that was supposed to finish ages ago"

Start up a league and get it done.

So get your fist Out of you'r ass and do something!

if i started a league no one would play in it

i think the best thing would be if haunted or some one else respected from the community like jehar (though hes too busy) would set up a 2v2 weekend cup it would get the best turn out, and if its kept short it should finish

actual leagues in NA never work cause they take too long and people lose interest :/

last 2v2 cup could have easily finished, only 8 teams, was 3-4 matches away from finishing, including LB.

There is nothing wrong with that, I often join a tourney server and watch the more talented players play.

I just thought that since you were really fired up about getting this going, that you may want to be a part of making it happen.

On topic: It's not very attractive to join a league where you know that you will get 200 ping because of me living in norway. Some finish dude like damiah will just kill him with 30 ping

There was an American cup last year ran by Silent Gamers that PURRI joined. Even with 100ms he played impressive and nearly won the whole thing. Also, Damiah gets good ping too on the tourney4 server. Under 120ms here IIRC. Perhaps you should invest in better internet? :>

My memory of the tournament is waning and I can't double check the brackets since they don't exist anymore, but I thought he ended up being put in the losers bracket automatically? I don't remember seeing any match of him besides his vs f0cus in the upper bracket. I think PURRI could of took the map he needed vs f0cus (dm1) if his aim was more stable. If you can't hit the important shots when someone +back you, you're not going to win. It's that simple. Also, look at the match previous to dm1 (rdm2). He destroyed f0cus and was hitting some impressive shots esp when you considered what his ping was.
