R1Q2 - HTTP download failed: Operation was aborted by an application callback

Currently running  Windows server 2008 r2 with IIS7

q2pro server

http downloads work perfect with q2pro clients. 6MB/sec

http downloads do not work with r1q2 clients??

UDP downloads are VERY SLOW

http downloads work perfect with q2pro clients 6MB/sec

http downloads with r1q2 clients do not work

UDP downloads are much faster than before but nothing compared to http downloads...

it doesnt make much sense for q2pro client to work perfectly on both r1q2 and q2pro servers

while r1q2 clients http downloads just dont want to work? any ideas ?

changing this from 1 to 0 skipped the file list in r1q2 client. and http download was a success!

how can i force all r1q2 clients to use the 0 option instead of 1?
i tried
set sv_http_filelists "0"
but that didnt work

in other words. the http downloads in r1q2 client were being aborted after it failed to find the .filelist
then switches to UDP downloads
q2pro client is much more intelligent.

Make your 404 page smaller, R1Q2 is aborting since it's receiving a large error page each time there's a 404. No need for error pages when it's never shown.

im having the same issue again.
trying to run IIS from a home computer.

with q2pro my http downloads work fine.
with r1q2 the 404 header is too large and is aborting.

before i deleted the 404.htm and it solved the issue on Windows Server 2008 R2
now im running IIS on Windows 7 at home. i deleted the 404.htm out of the inetpub but i still get the error.
i tried removing all the 404 files that didnt work ether.

never mind. dunno what i did. but i got it working right.

For above http problem I found solution in changing MIME type of .bsp to application/octet-stream. Maybe it will help someone in the future.
