Funny how id didn't allow the Generations team to do Wolf/Doom/Q1 in Q2 but Valve can make an "official" mod years ago that's in direct competition to Q1, no issues.

I have always found that to be strange!
They even ripped the grenade sounds!
But what i find as an epic fail is that DMC is Quake 1 on the gldsource engine which is a modified quake 1 engine xD

Looks like QW movement. If that's the case, why not just play the real thing (QW) instead? At least then you can have nice things like custom HUDs and skins:
