Tripp i hope you build up that bottom end on the honda.
ive seeen wayyyyy too many blow when they try to push more than 6psi.
i used to have a honda prelude 5th gen h22a alot of ppl would turbo/supercharge thoes engines but they didnt last long at all!
so they learned and built the engine up again ...just to push 6-8psi.

just take it easy and dont go boom

my car pushes 15psi right now but its maxing out the injectors duty cycle which is around 16psi 90% its fun and all but i actually felt my first hint of detonation the other day i could hear well more like feel it. little cooler outside so it boosted a little higher than 15

but yea new injectors and bigger turbos are on my future upgrade lists for my car. Actually bigger intercoolers, 555cc or 740cc injectors, some sport 530bb turbos and some new actuators. that will put me around a very modest and streetable 500+ wrhp.
ehh but who knows ... im gonna get some new volk wheels for her in a few weeks with tax refund!

What's your setup?

Also I will first get it tuned for 6 psi, then turn it up to 10psi on the track. The turbo is HUGE.....it's an ITS T3/t4 60-1....exact same specs as the Precision SC61 except it has an inconel turbine wheel.

As for fuel management I am running Precision 450cc injectors, and will be doing the tuning myself with an Innovative LM-1 kit and Crome. I'm confident I won't blow it up...I plan on tuning fairly conservatively.

It's not like I wont have enough HP if I tune conservatively...the previous owner of this turbo made 312whp on 9 psi of boost with a stock bottom end LS/VTEC. That's impressive as hell considering LSVTECs make about 160-180whp stock.

That rocks! so nice to see Z friendly ppl around here...
Dad and I fixed up his 77 280Z and show it at all the area z shows,

that straight 6 is prolly one of the easiest and funnest engines to work with.
if you dont have turbo already its not to difficult to add to them.. ours is all stock though,
they didnt add turbo untill I think 79 or so. Heh, didnt add A/C untill 78, sux as all the shows
are in the summer

Might be selling my oldsmobile.Kelly bluebook says its worth $3500-4000 .Id be happy with 3000.Then I could buy some other car for 2-2.5k and use the other money to get a clutch and fix the interior of the Z.

i just spent a pretty penny on a new RPS Turbo Street Clutch/ Rps Segmented lightweight flywheel/ split downpipes/ ss testpipes/new o2 sensors/ rear main seal/tranny mount/ clutch slave cylinder/ redline tranny/differental fluild. it was around $1800 doh!!!

`94 cadillac STS-4.6L 32V Northstar-I havent really done anything special to this one except custom alpine sound stuff, had it since december of 2003, although I'm gonna trade it off in june for something newer, I saw some 2001 tahoe's the other day that looked nice

I need to take some more pics of it, I took this one real quick with my bros digi camera that he got for xmas that day and havent messed with it since, Ill see if I cant get some more taken in a few days
