Hi guys, I've been looking for an answer for at least 1 month and finally i decided to post. I found similar problems which are solved by changing dynamics to 0 or setting exe priority to high. But in my case whatever I change I still have the same problem with r1q2 video renderer. Rail, rocket and other explosions gives me almost 1/2 sec. video lag. Also when other players use the guns I have the same problem, dm becomes a nightmare for me. Normal gl drivers work ok but they are not good enough to modify. Please give me some suggestions. Thank you.

Yes I can see. Probably because I am using paks to solve the problem (32bits) and r1q2. I have no idea why it causes and nowhere in quake I can see a error message. Also my anticheat allows me in the servers. Very ridiculous server indeed.

If it says you're using a spiked model, you were using both a known and confirmed spike cheat. Any explanation? Quadz?

I would love to hear what spike cheat is, I don't have any idea what it does, everything feels the same when I am playing. I am using a pak which is 70mb (I don't know it's name but I've attached what the menu looks like)

Also I found out why my fps going down when there is an explosion, I turned off "Force S3TC Texture Compression" (intel chipset mainboard desktop pc) Maybe this can help someone. In the game I am encountering this problem now (explosions again), but fps is back to normal. Screenshot:

It's a grenade model. With spikes sticking out of it.

So you're admitting you see spiked grenade models? What pak did you download in the first place?!

Thanks for the good answer Elysium. So technically rocket explosion pak is a spike hack? Which you can see in the 2nd screenshot I added to show my video problem. I don't see any other differences except that. I only use one pack that I recently downloaded. Also fyi, where I played till today for at least 10+ years, no one considered explosion paks as cheating...

A modified rocket explosion isn't included in AC file checks. Modified grenade and player models are.

Ok then, I will edit the pak and remove all grenade files. Is there any way to see if the server still thinks that I am using spiked model? Any command for clients?

Yes there is a way to check if you removed them. Connect using anticheat.
