So I keep getting a fatal error that closes Quake 2 Starter when I try to switch from R1Q2 to NoCheat OpenGL in the video options, here's the error I get...

Unable to initialize video output! Please check that your video card drivers are installed and up to date and that Quake II is installed properly. If you continue to get this error, try using R1GL from http://www.r1ch.net/stuff/r1gl/ and ensure your gl_driver is set to 'opengl32' in your autoexec.cfg

The following renderers DLLs failed to load:

ref_ncgl.dll (file not found)
ref_soft.dll (file not found)

Not accusing you of anything per se, but NoCheat ain't exactly considered "legit" by a lot of people these days. Many are quite aware that there are wallhacked versions of it floating around. Why not just use r1gl?

Well I can and will use R1Q2 over NoCheat OpenGL, as a non hacker/cheater it doesn't really make a difference to me. I just happen to notice (and how could I not) that Quake 2 Starter crashes when I switch to NoCheat OpenGL.
