How exactly do you hit that grunt model with a white crosshair. My crosshair is white as well which is why I don't use those bright skins.

Also, I guess lag switching is prob the close thing to dodgebots:

Great snapshot. ;)  i think it's because quadz had mentioned that the slowdown of demos the is why it appears so + the incredible latency you get on servers as well. a bad combination that creates that look. got nice prediction skills i admit. legit too.

demos only record at 10 fps, and record the POV of the client as seen by the server, not locally. When a client does an extremely fast movement, it is interpolated over 100 milliseconds. As a side effect, this makes flick shots very unrealistic looking, as while locally the client may have flicked their mouse in 10 milliseconds, when replayed it will be interpolated for 100 milliseconds, which is exactly what you're seeing in this video.

The point is, no matter where the crosshair is in the demo when the enemy is killed, it WILL come in contact with the model.

I don't think so.  I have a demo of a rail kill on here (from 2005 I think)

In the demo I rail a player,  and the crosshair never went over the player model,  or over any part of the screen the player occupied.

So..   yeah in game I had to have pointed there,  but it was a quick flick over and back, so the demo kinda skipped that movement.
Lemme see if I can find it...

Think this was on dialup,  so that prolly doesn't help the matter.

After the shot (shoots out to my left) my view actually goes to the right.  Never goes over to where he was.

Does Millhouse still play?  I miss that wacky asian.  Figure he's changed names since and I just missed it.
