I have sounds in my pak in the sound folder.. whats the cmd to play them? it used to be "play weapon.wav" but it doesnt work anymore i tried sound/weapon.wav and all that kinda bullshit. would appreciate the help. thanks.

It would help to know what you are trying to accomplish with the sound.

This is from the console commands list:

play

Type: Function

Syntax: play (filename)

Description: Play a sound file.

Note: This command adds a sound/ prefix directory when executed, just keep this in mind when playing your own sound files.

Example:
play doors/dr1_strt.wav
play items/n_health.wav

uh? i think that doesnt have to do with AC.
I use timers in europe with AC loaded.

Yes, it does. The command to disable the play command is sv_anticheat_disable_play 1, so if you want to play legit, including disabling your use of of timers, use anticheat.

yeah, anticheat keeps things more legit

america isnt too fond of timers, euros use them in top tier play though...

still works on the ffa servers though if you REALLY care to time in ffa...

thats just the way tdm should be played between really good teams... BUT! its not hard to subtract 20 or 30 seconds xD quake2 timing doesnt even have times ending in 5 for items lol

Set up a keyboard macro to push an external software timer - of course, this is if you can't think for yourself and count numbers in your head.
