A demo of Combi aimbotting against Purri. It's a little harder to see than most aimbot demos, because hes using ratbot, the best aimbot, in a high fov and only with specific weapons. It's easiest to see in his chain, enjoy.

are you saying he's not aimbotting? rofl. i hope not, he was labeled one at q2scene.. but yeah about me "obviously not knowing little or anything about aimbots"... I never claimed to know anything, i got all my info about this demo from q2scene and q2p, where the likes of ditzu, naymlis, purri, lucas, dimmo, and others discussed it. I mean he had 60-70%+ chain in close combat, lol...

Next time when I need info about aimbots Art, i'll ask you instead of attain information from more experienced players such as listed above. you "obviously" know more.

yeah anyways, i thought it was a pretty cool demo, theres been a lot of controversy over it.. All the russians (where combi is from) totally defend him saying he doesn't cheat, and almost everyone else says he does.

To me he looks like he's cheating...even the best chainers are not that accurate. It's like his chain is never missing and instead of firing a little around him, all the bullets hits purri.

I'll put it this way haunted, if it is a cheat, it's nothing publicly availible right now. There's a remote possiblility it could be a private cheat, but I doubt it. As for my ability to recognise a cheat, you'll just have to take my word for it.

Anyone know the date that game was played ?

the match was played 1 year and 3 months ago. Combi is undoubtedly botting, there is no way around it. He is pinging 60 and he has a 60% chain!! That is impossible to do without botting. Brad (doze) had the best chain around when he was active. When pinging 20 his chain at best would be in and around 30%. I dont think you understand how accurate a 60% chain is... 20-25% is good as fuck.

On top of all this he attacks with chain at long distances, and with low health. There is no one in there right mind that would do this and win, unless they had a 60% chain (bot).

"Didnt remember this game untill I saw the demo. After watching the demo I really thought something was strange about his game. Facts. I pinged from 60 to 200 (in close combat). He had a jumpy ping aswell around 60. His crosshair sort of glued(stuck) when he aimed with cg. He only missed 1 time with chaingun in the end, wich I think was lag(or he missed his "cg bot on bind=)", even cheats affect when lagged =)

Another thing that crossed my mind. If you watch the demo closely, and think that "he is using a on/off trigger cg bot, such as "frk" or something", then you will notice how fucking stupid he plays. He plays very nervous like, but very aware of that he has a inzane cg aim.... He continuesly trusts that he will win all close combats when he has cg. He even uses cg on far distance.

Im pretty confident that I would win if my ping would just stayed at 60 and get a rematch, just hard to play when his cg goes above 60-70% in close combat when I had 200 in ping (=

Watch the demo, or watch it again if you have watched it, and think try to think that he is using a trigger bot on cg, and that he is very confident with cg only, he sort of runs away with all other weapons. But even if I have mega/armor + weapons .... he still attacks with cg and lower health, abit strange if you ask me. "

just showing you some other POV's... another thing is how shaky combi's movement is, but how smooth his crosshair follows purri when chaining him. yeah.. well anyways the bottom line is, it is impossible to chain that good no matter how good you're ability is to "recognise" a cheat... especially with a 60 ping rofl. so im not gonna take your word for it

The way the chain hovers dead-on, a 1/4 model behind Purri is convincing. I saw a cheated HL demo where the machine gun was the only give-away -- perfectly tracking as the guy arcs by.

Granted I don't know the bots out there; but, wouldn't it be easy to modify the bot's FOV during play to turn it on/off. Even if the bot code out there doesn't allow this, you could use a memory resident program to change the FOV in RAM / turn it off using a keytoggle during play. My point is that turning it on/off can't be that hard.

Well if you're looking for the obvious bot that fires everywhere and never miss you'll miss it in thie case. But I'll continue to believe that chaining like in this demo is impossible. Usually even with a very good chain there's going to be bullets around the target but in this case they all hit purri in close combat. That is not humanly possible.

If that is a bot its a sneaky one I saw him miss with the chain a few times, but some of the chaining was phenominal.So Im kinda 50/50 on that.Looked like more wallhackish to me than anything.Course some of those guys with headphones are good at timing those shots.

That is so hard to see... seems like it would be impossible to prevent botting if they're all as covert as that!

well with my limited knowloedge of bots I don't think it's always ppl who shot out of their asses, it's not always that obvious. I read that you can adjust the fov you want you bot to be accurate in. So if you set it to a small one it would just be more accurate when your cursor is close to the target which is really hard to notice. In this case it looks like that to me. That's why he misses sometimes but when his cursor is close to purri there's no bullet that gets lost (as it would usually be the case with chain) and they all hit the target.

but yeah, something that I could have mentioned that would help viewers distinguish the bot is to watch it in software mode. I just tried it and in soft mode you can see the blood from each bullet hitting. purri is solid red, haha....
