So was looking at a lake I'm camping at next month. Looking around for spots to put the boat in and do some fishing etc. Then I saw it . PROOF monster fish swimming.
Lets here some opinions on what this could be. Look around the lake and note the fact there isn't any boats on the water and all parking areas are empty of any vehicles. Holy crap, that thing appears to be wider than the roads around the lake. weird. Oregon fish and wildlife have anything to say?

Think you might need heavier test line than normal...

I looked around for a car at the same zoom level, found 2 pickup trucks parked next to each, and with plenty of room between them.

picture honestly just looks like a sandbar or a shallow point in the water. Every lake and river on google maps will have a mass that same color all-over it.

The link provided did not point to any lake. Just a bunch of trees. Nearby there are a whole bunch of circle shapes in the grass. ALIENS!

They can be anything from ripples of boats, to wind, to foam, to sand bars. It all depends on lighting and clarity of water. Clarity of the image plays a big part too. These images are much higher zoom level than they used to. The older low res images were a pale shade of yellow when I looked last year.

An interesting note though. I used to drive by this thing everyday. It honestly looks like a shipwreck because one of the wooden posts sticking out sticks at least 8 feet from the water surface and appears to have an old crows nest.

I'm convinced it's really just an old dock that collapsed but one can dream.

Pewee your sand bar is shaped like a sandbar

this is clearly something different. It is the shape of a fish with clear wakes behind it. It looks nothing like a sandbar
