Not that I "hate" Whitesnake, but my stuff is NOTHING like old Whitesnake. Some of that old hair metal shit I'll still listen to every once and again, including Whitesnake. Shit like Poison, HELL NO! Poison is awful! Bret Michaels sounds like a faggot (bundle of sticks) chewing on a dick when he sings, and the sound of Poison's music aside from the vocals sounds like bubblegum pop-rock bullshit to me, just fucking horrible all the way around. David Coverdale of Whitesnake was actually a very good vocalist, and the lead guitarist (I forget his name) was pretty good too. They actually sounded pretty metal. Also... they had Tawny Kitaen in their videos, so... SCHWING! They're still putting out music too, although I'm not sure if the lineup is anything like it was back in the late 80's. I caught whatever that latest video is of theirs on VH1 Classic a while back. Sounded like crap to me. David Coverdale hasn't aged well at all either.

Still of the Night was probably my favourite. Here I go Again (which is a bit lame) and Bad Boys were good, and Crying in the rain.

I think Whitesnake had a good steady rhythm. They knew what they wanted to do and did it.

Every song on that album is awesome even after 24 years. Can you believe it's that long?

Yes, I can. And I'm glad that hair metal shit is all behind us now. Unfortunately (in my opinion anyway) we still have a lot of fat old turds from that era floating in the bowl who just refuse to be flushed away... like Brett Michaels and that retarded fop neo-Bach wannabe Yngwie Malmsteen. I guess that era was a necessary evil in evolution of metal to some extent.
