The bare minimum for hopping dm8 crates is in between 65.5-66.5 fps... I am fairly certain. I watched adrenaline do it with 67(out of a mere 10 tries, not to mention), and I personally have done it with 70. I got adrenaline to test it for me because I do not get above 60 fps anymore.

That may be true.. but lower numbers than 91 will do this as well.

It's an incorrect contribution though... I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression or anything, although it was still positive.

I and adrenaline may have been doing something different that's advantageous for it. But for sure, it's much lower than 91. I would *guess* that the best movement for completing a crate jump at a lower fps would be wall-lstrafing up the side of the crate then leveling out the circle at the peak of your jump. Very similar to the circle/movement you do in the water on dm1 to come out of the water with no pop-up lag.

What fps do you get when you 'timerefresh'?

and btw, I wouldn't be TOO surprised if 91 was the number for a completely normal, stationary, non-strafe jump. Still not so sure about that though ;> Using 100+ makes it easier though, no doubt.

No problem buddy, and that timerefresh reading would be the reason for why you can't do those box jumps. Most likely, you're capped at 60 fps due to vsync. Depending on your video card / monitor, you may or may not be able to take vsync off. I cannot on my current PC, my monitor simply does not work in anything else.

I usually get a cheeseburger and a pitcher of PBR ;)

FPS I get 59.something always, just like SANTA. It's only stable 59.x because I'm in a really low video mode, particles off, and gl_picmip 3. Without that it's not so fun haha. At least it feels a little better than my laptop though :beer:

hmmm.. I don't think 60 is doable.. I've been on it for years and have used a dj script for years as well. I'd be very surprised is what I'm saying :> When we did it, 67 you hit a few times then once with 66...65 wasn't happening. Maybe dael knew that too, being that he used 66 fps. Haven't messed around with it w/o a dj script in awhile though.
