1600x1200 minimum on gaming PC, but Q2 at 1280 to keep the hud up. 2560 x 1600 on the Mac. Have a 13" monitor too, it feels like squinting into a microwave.

i use the 1024 x whatever one cuz that is what my monitor runs best as i guess. i'd like it to be the next size bigger, but i bet it wont run as smooth. This is still a step up. A year ago i was running 640x480 or whatever, and only recently had gone to 800x600. New monitor allows a bigger display, but my eyes so far have been much more fatigued.

I have always been more than satisfied with 800x600. Been using it for years even though the monitor I have now can support above it. Just never really had a reason to switch it to a higher resolution.

yeah i use 800x600 too, its easier on my eyes. bad thing is alot of sites out there aren't too 800x600 user friendly, mostly for 1024x768 and above now.

960x720 q2 works just right for my monitor 1024x768 setting.

I run 1600x 1200 on every game exept battlefield 2, that one crushes my pc with max graphics settings. Still need to invest in a second video card so I can run SLI so I can do more anti aliasing.

I think 800 is best for PCs that dont do good in new games, but if you have PC with good video use biggest resolution. I vote for 800 because I always play with it and is very good.

Def... I'm shocked you can play that way...

Mine's 1024x768 on 17 inch monitor, seems to be best for me... although I've been wondering if a lower resolution might be better for rails (not that I could go back to that)... whaddya think? Could that be why adrenaline is dead-on at 400x300?

400 x 300??? I realize when I play in begining quake with 320 x 240 on a bad computer. The target was big than all humans and it was fun to shoot with chaingun on gladiator bots to have the blood come on the screen. Very fun, makes me sad I have realize the past
