Ok so I am sitting taking a break for a few maps in specy and guess what I see? Misty straight up cheating like a sucker. I mean this isnt some hack were talking about here, were talking about misty loggin into the server with two sessions and using one of the sessions to give frags to the other.

So here we have Bot Winner !!! fragging misty, each time misty spawns misty runs to where bot winner !!! is hiding and then the window is switched to the other player (bot winner) and then bot winner frags Misty.

and Bot winner !!! was winning with 8 frags using this method before well watch and see what happens, lol.

The only interesting thing that I saw in the demo was that you can use spec mode to find where people are hiding, but that seems quite redundant if you have decent sound knowledge.

I won't even lie...a long time ago (11 years ago?) I used to do this - log in with two quake 2 windows, and then just frag the shit out of the second player. I don't remember the name of the server it was on - but it was a lithium server, no hook, with the 4 colored diamond looking runes. It ran all small maps, absolute spam fest the entire time. I want to say it was the BORG server or something along those lines. Anyway, I got #1 on the CLQ with that, and I was so proud of myself.

I even got kicked out of the clan I was in for doing something similar where I just had a friend run to the same spot on the map and continually fragged him so I could have the high score on every map. As soon as the dude that started the clan found out, he sent me this long e-mail about cheating and tarnishing the name of Digital Vampires. To be 15 again.

I always wonder what my maximum skill potential would have been if I hadn't taken a 7 year break from the game. I know I would never be at the level of Vae, but I might be close. As it stands right now, I don't see how I could get any better skill wise, other than just playing smarter and improving on strategy.

Honestly, I never thought bout misty's "cheating" style.
what im thinking of is that you have 2 pcs and one is on chase mode while doing a 1v1 match

While you may not find cheating interesting I thought it was rather, well.....sad.

After all, this person decided to take the trouble of logging in with two sessions just to have a chance of winning

And when I see something as obvious as this person who was clearly cheating I will make a demo and I will specy the player in question. The fact that I was also able to play and spank that chump, well thats just what happens when you try to cheat in this way. You cant move both players at the same time so it's a slaughter fest.

Only reason I posted the demo at all is I've seen this type of ridiculous attempt at cheating before.

In fact as long as were on the topic of pumping frags like this here is the ultimate demo showcasing my point.

This one comes in from December of last year when I started playing Q2 again.

Well, there's not much to say about this, I'd think. The player is cheating but it doesn't seem like much of a problem, since this tactic isn't going to help someone rack up frags like item/spawn camping does. If misty tries to do this on a populated server, I think he'll be lucky enough to frag himself if the players on there do kill afk players.
