i got bored and made a tastyspleen wallpaper. Its kinda useless cos its 800x600 and hardly anyone uses that nowdays (its was the only render i could be bothered to do)

hah! no i don't mind, i like it. but the spleen does look like a peanut, lol. and i can see where you cutted and pasted the fork in photoshop maybe. though i would be interested in the steps and progams you used to create it. nice work in any case.

(<----note:this is about close to the actual size of a spleen compared to a fork)

I used Cinema4D to do the 3d fork and spleen (i think it looks like balls or summat lol) and i edited and put it all together in photoshop CS2. The bits you can see that look like i cut out are the shoddy mask i made for the background text. (as i needed to make it look like it was behind the fork).

I basically created the spleen from a metaball in c4d, and the fork from a spline, then the rest was photoshop to add text etc.

i've never got around to using c4d, always thought it was more for animation creation than model creation. a little gaussian blur could of worked just as well to make the fork look 'closer' than the background, and also focus more on the objects in the scene you want people to pay most attention to.

haha, that's the wrong one, it didnt have those 2 protruding parts to it on the bottom, but oh well, i don't have the original, its in the forums somewhere

Heh, made it on paint, and saved it as jpg, unfortuanately the forum doesent let you upload bmps, hence the loss of quality in color and image..

hehe yeah i forget where i found that graphic, but i've always held onto it cuz it's so cool. I eventually wanna get it put on a shirt or something.
