What the heck is with quad damage in q2dm1? It's too easy. Takes the fun out of the game

IDEA! for april first next year.. make quad give EVERYONE but the bearer quad damage

if you hate other people getting quad, then just get it yourself... or leave when the power ups rotation starts... or time it and get free kills by spamming rockets at all the noobs running for quad... or specifically hunt down the quad carrier for fun...

quad on dm1 is no different than quad on dm2 or dm3 or any other map... if anything, being a tighter map with weapon stay, its easier to have rocket spam on the quad so its less effective when the server has more people on it... and with less people, its easier to avoid stupid little fights and target the quad

Typically quad is a valuable item in which teams of 4 attempt to control in order to have an advantage... Same concept is applicable in FFA, but I don't think it's on the mind of your typical FFA player.

I don't have a problem with quad really, but I can see where you're coming from Escher.

It annoys the heck out of me when I am about to double jump for mh or armor, and then I get fragged. Usually I tend to run away from the quad carrier and they follow me like a magnet. I don't get away most of the time. I have a hard time seeing how the game is fun when I respawn and I get fragged by the quad

In most of my attempts getting the quad carrier they tend to have a lot of armor and its not enough time for me to get away, so I get fragged

(haven't I said this before?) When I get quad kills I am not too happy about it. I like to use the rg when I have quad now. I just want to run in the map not having to worry about that kinda crap. But I guess it's ffa, not tdm. I think I'll just time it, then use the rl on the bastard!
