tastydm2 is such a BIG map for 4 players. It's a fun map, don't get me wrong. It would be very rail heavy, which I guess DM8 is as well. That might be a decent third choice, now that I think about it. For me, DM1/DM8 are shoe ins, and the third map would come down to tastydm2, dm5, or maybe dm7. I do like that tasty only has yellow armor (right?), and no red. Would have to make sure that DM8 power shield is disabled. Power screen seems ok, as it seems super weak anyway (or just disable it too, not like it's needed, or would be missed). I would just hate to see a heavily power-up dependent kinda match.

On a side note idk that Tastydm2 is any bigger then Dm8 as referred to by Punk.

It just has that really massive central area with a lot of sniping perches up top. Maybe I'm just so used to zipping around DM8 that DM8 just doesn't seem all that "big" anymore.

If you get more players than the number you planned on, I could drop to make room for higher skilled players.

For example, i would not want to take a slot and have someone like Defiant not get in.

I thought WTF when you said tastydm2 was BIG. Maybe I'm just used to zipping around it.

Who cares about the shield on dm8, I never have a problem with it on the DM server.
If I get it it never last too long, and rarely come across someone who does have it.

DM1, if it gets played, is just going to be a distracted 1v1 game for the 2 top players.
I don't look forward to it as much as I used to on ffa, the action on other maps just seems to mean more.

also... only the last round will have 4 players, at least that's what I was thinking anyway. The rest either 8 or 6, depending on how many participate.

I wasn't planning on using dm1 as the final round either.
