I use different aliases as well. But I do it a lot more often than most of the time when I am on Quake. It's only about 3 of them.

And I should have thought of that as my alias. I think I'll use my last name the next time I'm on the servers.

I OCCASIONALLY play as stupid names like horsedick.mpeg, or making fun of other people's names, but you'll see me 99% time as the name I play with and am "recognized" by.

The only reason why this is in discussion is because you continue to name drop people like .b100d, etc.  I saw your invite this morning as "laff" inviting blood to dfca.  Then you come here and you post about how you had a close game with a "good railer" and blah blah blah, trying to defend your ability.  I had no idea that it was you that had invited him..


My point is that I don't understand why the fuck you use so many aliases.  This might stem from the whole stupid drama you had with smack, but seriously, what's the point of using a bunch of different aliases?  Why can't you just play as one, and that's who you are?  No guessing about who this random person might be?  When I first started playing again, I played as Erik, because I wasn't sure anybody would even remember my old name, but once I started running into people from 7 years ago, I switched back to my old name.  Simple as that. 

And when I say you take this game too seriously, I'm not just talking about you using aliases, it's the entire spectrum of shit that I've read since October.  Your immature arguments with people, constantly posting demos about cheaters or people you think are cheating, posting screenshots of people you beat, complaining about vigi and leatha and their ping, the list goes on and on.  That's what I'm talking about when I say you take this shit too seriously.

i only talk shit to people who start with me first. i post screenshots because assholes on here say shit like "oh you can't beat him" yadda yadda so i prove them wrong, and when i do its still not right. so why not attack the people who start shit on these forums and the servers first? instead you are just jumping on the bandwagon attacking me for what reason? because everyone else is atm?  i mean honestly why do you even give a crap what i do on the forums, how i play, or what alias i use? honestly answer me that

Honestly, I feel like I could help you be a better person.  You seem mentally tormented by this game, and the only other person that I've seen that takes it as seriously as you do is Vae. 

I just want you to mellow out and enjoy the game for what it is, and not ruin your experience (and the experience of others).  When I say others, I mean when you come on here and post the bulk of your nonsense about cheaters and who you beat, etc. (see earlier list). 

50% or more of your posts have to be nonsense about how good you think you are, or how much other people cheat.

90% of my posts are for technical support so that I can enjoy playing the game (or random discussion).

Just seems like you're on this endless quest to prove yourself.

no i only prove myself to people who talk shit to me on the servers first, then when i beat them they complain winge and bitch about it, and it pisses me off. just like  there have been a few others who have said they could beat me on my home server and yet i have crushed them, and they still talk shit to me. and yes i am competetive. i love quake2 but i am competetive by nature, and so is a large ammount of players who play games.

you would be suprised how many people get upset if they are having a bad game. how many people do you see rage quit during a game out of sheer frustration? it happens to everyone. all you have to do is watch the TDM scene. I have seen alot of good players chuck a hissy fir and rage quit, why? because they r competetive and get frustrated when they aren't doing so well
