PLEASE HELP MY QUAKE 2 WILL NOT UPLOAD NEW MAPS!!!

 :help: I just reinstalled the game and everytime i try and upload a new map it says ERROR and everytime i try to upload q2rdm2 it says
couldnt load textures/metals/metpan_ama_64.wal        does anybody know any reason why it wouldnt let me upload maps???

like it wont automatically upload the maps that i dont have when i go to a server!

DM server is fucked. 2 point blank rockets from spawn and lava damage and player survived? WTF?" Also someone has fucked with the spawn points, every single time no matter how big the map you spawn right in front of the person who killed you last
