DM7 secret teleport?

I can confirm that someone has found a way to get bfg from outside of the slime trap room.

A couple times now I've seen guys spend the whole map running straight there to get it and spam it, then die and repeat.
I think they are getting the bfg and cells via the tele, then dying while diagonally facing the lefthand corner so it drops outside in the square slime area below the SG, then going straight there on the next spawn to pick it out of the slime.

Haven't tested it, but the guy I saw doing it was going right to that spot every time I saw him and coming out with bfg in hand.

I'd like to remove the easter egg from the dm server and just leave it in vanilla only.  It's a little funky as they share the same baseq2 directory on the server.

Why is that bad?? In my opinion, the BFG on dm7 is the best thing about dm7.

I'm not a fan of the BFG in general, but it's a cool easter egg and I'd like to see it stay. The difficulty in getting it out really limits the disruption, since it's very uncommon for someone to do that. And just firing it from back there is even less of a problem IMO. I know your server isn't a democracy, but that's my vote anyway

...wouldn't worry about it...I've only see a a few people actually running around with it and they are usually killed quickly...I don't think I've seen anyone run around with it for a whole map or actually come close to winning a map while using it...

...it's kinda fun to steal it from one of those guys every now and again and it does make dm7 a bit more interesting...now how about adding an rg to the hiding place in the slime bellow the upper rl...

00s right. I don't see many people beating me to a fraglimit using that trick unless they manage to grab it, get ra and then go stand above hyper spawn racking up kills and do only that for the whole map.

all told, rocket/nade spam on dm7 is more difficult to deal with than someone spammin the newb cannon.

It would be awesome to keep moving around the teleport to BFG around the map in different acid areas at random, so every time you'd have to look for it
