So with the railz mod and server and seeing how popular it is, I feel it would be a good idea to have a rocket launcher only mod. I figured it wouldn't be too hard to code, and people would get a lot of practice with rocket launcher in making a rockets only mod and server.

Soooo... opinions? Anybody willing to make it?

not a bad idea although i would still love a nade only server so they can remove the nades from railz

By rockets only server, I mean rockets only FFA server, just in case there's any confusion.

Also, since OSP can run a one-weapon only config, is it possible we can implement this into its own server like railz and make a rockets only server?

There are alot of people out there (like me) who are happy with their railgun acc. , but need practice with the rocket launcher. With this, you won't have to go to an FFA server and pick up nothing but the rocket launcher. Just goto ROX.

I guess that was the obvious name for it, because that's what I already set up.

Basically I just cloned the railz server, substituted railgun --> rocket launcher.

nice mod

r u going to keep the railz maps? gonna have to work out a frag limit. If railz maps r used maybe 40? because most of the railz maps r small and narrow, won't take long to spam the limit with alot of ppl. but would be cool with 30 and a 10 time limit

Ok, it's now timelimit 10, fraglimit 30

The rocket damage is reset to normal, (which works out to 100 * (random(20))

You now spawn with 100 red armor.

Better? Worse? Lemme know...

removing self damage would make it nothing but a spam mod, won by whoever can hold down their fire button and move the least predictably

starting with armor seems like a better trade off
