wow can't believe i beat dervs reaper bot. I think i found the secret to doing it, u gotta be quick though

I've only done it with all weps in a duel, and it took a lot of unexpected dodging to accomplish along with a lot of very quick snap rails.

Pretty much every 3 seconds on the dot you need to be changing direction dramatically and with good speed, and you can never jump while he's anywhere on screen or you're gettin hit hard.

if it's pinging 120 it shouldn't be too hard to win by a few.

the ping it shows isn't real afaik, unless it adds an imperceptible delay to their reaction times which I probably undermined by making the reaction time so fast in the first place.
The bot runs off of the server box, so it should actually be getting a 5ms ping or so.

I can't recall if it's adjustable, but I think they all show pings between 80-120

i have beaten reaper bot before on an aussie server when i first came back to quake in normal tdm, took alot of consentration, not bad considering i hate tdm, i only won by 2 frags though, but that one on your server was vicious, i played one game before hand and i only got 7 frags in to its 40 odd i think, then i tried different tactics and it worked, just gotta be super alert

now that was impressive. having played the reaper in both tdm and insta i would have to say it is alot harder to play against it in insta

yeah... but come on, even crazy jump players dont land jumps like that IN GAME xD its just crazy to even think about... he lands the shells to hb ledge across arena jump lol and he does a triple rj in the arena up to gl to get a frag... wtf

I experience the glory behind this feeling all the time. It just feels so swell to dominate flashy tech skill in this game.. Sometimes I feel the world isn't even ready for my ownage. It's both a blessing and a curse, don't be so confident that you could even handle the burden.
