i never liked it that much like this either, but once you try it its not so bad

i dont like the solid color stuff either, i just use the recolored skins elysium made

I like the bright .png skins that actually have a face on them and shadows...
think these are the ones you're refering to.
I use 'em too.

It's the insanely bright green ones that kill me.

I'm sorry! new pak! =O and i turned on antiasliasing and anisotropic to 4x, and q2 no longer looks jagged at all anymore, it's koo.

Thank's, i'm using - (full name and everything haha) - LeadTek Winfast 6600GT Extreme Edition, basically a 6600GT overclocked some with a nice ass cooler on it, and as I said 4x aniso + antialiasing makes it look nice too, though only thing I notice is lack of jagged edges (before I used anti and aniso, most straight edges would be jagged rather than smooth), I like having this new rig, mucho mucho improvement over the old p2 350 + 3dfx Voodoo 3, improves game much.

I don't think my geforce (mx440 64mb) could handle 4x aniso, but I haven't tried messing with my
settings too much since I started using R1GL... I'm still reading the docs to figure out
what kind of improvements I can make that won't burn my old vid card up in 20 minutes...
I've been saving up, but it'll be a few more months before I can build my new rig.
As soon as I saw screenshots from Enemy Territory:Quake Wars, I started shopping my new
parts.
