best mousepad

was wondering what the best mouse pad would be to use for a microsoft basic optical mouse? I normally just use the bare surface on my computer desk but it is starting to produce some massive wear marks, i have tried mouse pads but they feel uncomfortable because of the size. is it poosible to get one that would cover my whole front half of my desk? here is a pic of my awesome machine but yeah wanna know if u can buy a pad that would cover say from end to end, and what the best material would be

Im using a bond paper as a mousepad 
For the following reasons:

1. free
2. disposable
3. biodegradable
4. u can write notes on it
5. Im too lazy and cheap to buy a real mousepad

check out xtrac mousepads, cheap, smooth, cloth mouse pads i think the razer goliathus ones are too thick and cost a bit more than xtrac...

i use a 18x14 xtrac pad, cost <20$ and i love it

I use a mousepad that my childhood dentist gave me a decade ago.... it's a rectangle and a nylon-ish fabric is on top with a rubbery bottom. I recommend mousepads that have these characteristics to anyone who is serious about it.

haven't tried it yet, but it seems quite nice and large.

I use corepad, which is similar.   I enjoy the large 4x larger size pad so that you never run out of pad space when running low sensitivity.
