Source code of Tastyspleen xatrix mod

Hello,

tastyspleen is running t least three xatrix servers with some custome modifications (for example to traps). I like these and would like to obtain the source code. Is it available somewhere?

Yup.  The preferred way to obtain the latest source is to check it out from anonymous CVS:

  $ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@tastyspleen.net:/var/cvs/public login
  <hit enter when asked for password>
  $ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@tastyspleen.net:/var/cvs/public co quake2plus-tsmod

However, a .zip archive of the source is here:

Oh I wasn't aware the BFG weapon is completely removed on TS xatrix servers? Do you really think its necessary? ;( BFG is always fun...

I didn't remove it.  The people who made the "quake2plus" mod removed it.

What I added was extended trap throwing, killable traps, a few other tweaks I don't recall offhand.

Personally I'm not in favor of removing options at the code level (like removing BFG).  Instead it should be configurable via a cvar, so that server operators can make the choice.  But, they didn't use a cvar, they just ripped it out of the source.

Just a thing quadz, do you think its possible to have a +bfg mymap command for xatrix, and a -bfg mymap command for vanilla or dm?

I think there is one for DM. Long time ago back in 2008(When I was a newb :bananaw00t:) I believe, someone did a mymap and took out the BFG. They were complaining that I used it too much.
