quadz is it possible to add new maps(small ones) in mymap too?

Custom maps aren't added to vanilla very often.  And the rule is they should use no custom textures/sounds/envs.  (Unless it's a very small download.)

But anyway, what map(s) did you have in mind?

honestly, i dont mind the textures of maps. Small maps would be great in vanilla specially if there are only 2 or 3 players around. Im kinda lazy too to round all around the map.

It's a large open room, with some buildings. Most action happens in the middle. The extra rooms are generally just used to get items and get back into the fight.

I mentioned pwpipes1 earlier. That's a 16-32 player map... minimum

I believe the concept of Vanilla was to run all the maps of the Single Play game on the server. This includes Train and Space. They are unexciting maps but are spiced up by adding Infinite Ammo to them. Also speeds up the match. Putting them on MyMap is a good compromise.

And there ARE some small maps on Vanilla for just a few players around.

Run around a map arming yourself and prepare for a big battle. (and don't run away like a pansey assed wounded puppy licking your wounds.. I'm looking at you TDM crowd!)

I haven't seen 16 players on train in a long long time, so I can't really comment how much better it might be, but I can't picture big battles on that map being any more fun. There's not much space for items or weapons to be contested with a player count that high (think of ya/rl room). It'd be just nonsense.

Getting most of the weapons takes too much time on train, because it's too big and weapons are so spread apart from each other. I don't really understand how that aspect could make a map fun to anyone.

There's a reason why everyone leaves the server when someone mymaps train. That's because it's crappy map for multiplayer.

i could +forward the entire time in every match i played if i wanted :P but that just leaves it up to whoever has better aim... and... thats no fun
