i do need to set up a new conky config, still using the default one from crunchbang... i really havent done a whole lot to it from the flat install

i think its a very nice looking distro as soon as you log in for the first time

its a 30g partition, i dont run linux 24/7

what am i supposed to name it? pcnum42? lol i use vae and one other alias on more things than just tastyspleen

on top of that, i do know how to use linux, i know how to use it quite well, but i dont have years of experience and have never built a LFS system so things like missing dependencies you have to pick out from what looks like a jumbled log file to me isnt exactly the easiest thing to do
