vote: railz map rotation changes

How can we get to a rotation once again were people don't leave the server cold and dead?

Simple solution, don't leave when you see a map you don't like or aren't winning anymore.

Both of those are the most common reasons I see for people disconnecting en masse.

You do have a point about leaving, yet it seems that it can take a few if not more map rotations till people return, which can be boring and frustrating all in one.

Also as maps go, it seems that there are a few maps, if not more that could use the bench for awhile for other maps to get some mileage if you know what I mean.

same shit when i show up with my aim on doesnt matter what map it is... people just leave and dont come back for like a half hour to an hour lol

Just go around throwing nades until someone has a good lead on you, then get the rail out and take on the challenge of passing them before they can get to 40.  That might make your game more fun when the level of players is not on your level.

what's the name of the Q1 map, the one with the lava in the middle of map, double floored in the sides???

 only one that would come close to a part way decent  map out of those is snowdm1. q2duel5 would be a nice little map. i actually like travoltas fav railz map will have to ask him what its called. he knows a few good ones.

The q1 map is the boss map for the first set I think,   there is also a version that has ice in the middle.
Hafta look for the name,  but both are in the mymap I think.

Well that is because you hate all maps except the ones with shitloads of hallways. Maybe the maps I propose are not liked by the majority but i must insist in trying to replace these maps with (big) open arena type of maps, so variety prevails.

Reflex: yeah those are the ones i was talking about, they are in mymap (at least the lava one) but i don't know their pathnames/names.

true tbh i don't like 50% of the maps on railz but some r tollerable. i just hate too many maps with the jump pads. i don't mind open maps like snowdm1, railwar1 even meadow i don't mind.

trav's favorite far as i know is ztn2dm1... and its a terrible map... q2duel5 is fun, but its small for even 2 players, ffa wouldnt work

nah his fav railz map is some map that is sort of  like grdm1. its basically a circlular map, has a teleporter and has pipes. forget what it was called
