the polls is a great idea. there should be more polls on every server map rotation and settings. what i like even more is the tracking feature the polls have to see who voted. a weekly poll would be an activity which would be a very participating event..

I like it too - but it's a manual process.  I run an SQL query on the forums database, and copy/paste the results.

there should be more polls on every server map rotation and settings.

What I'd really like to do, is provide the ability for players to register an optional "username/account" which would be recognized by wallfly in game.  Then, while in game, players could propose new maps to be added to 'mymap' or to the rotation, and others could vote on it.  (The reason for registering the account, is I can't just go by IP.  Some players' IP's stay constant for months; other players' IPs change every day.)

I'd want it to be done in a way so as not to interrupt the game in any way.  Maybe a menu that appears when you first join the server letting you know about votes in progress, and which you could access later at any time if you wanted.. dunno.

suggest away astral by the look of it there are 2 or 3 maps that r clearly gone, zetha, stadium and kiekdm5. should scout over on mutant, they have some nice custom maps

i dont see how any are "clearly" gone even with stadium, six votes to keep is still a substantial number of people having an opinion about keeping the map.... the forums is a very very small cross section of the railz players, and unless it was very polarized like 14 votes to get rid of and 2 to keep, then i dont see how it would be "clearly" gone
