Quake2 game lib 3.20 linux [where?]
« on: November 13, 2010, 12:09:20 PM »
Where can I find a ready to compile 3.20 game library (as clean as possible) that's ready to be compiled on Linux (so that I can just type 'make' and have it compiled)?

Been my limited experience there's enough differences in where distros put the libraries needed you have to customize the make - but I'm sure others have come up with a way by now. Here's a link to start you off with...   http://icculus.org/quake2/

icculus gives me errors during compile :(

i don't want the whole port. just the game section (like the gamex86.dll). i can compile lithium and crap on linux. because I don't have to worry about the engine.

R1Q2 should include a compilable game DLL (on both x86 and x86-64).

I've been sick with Q2 since 2007. It's incurable.
Dying and reviving is common. It's a shame the QT was good.
