I know we just talked about torment already, but I'm curious if anyone has seen some demos of it. I'd be interesting to see how good players play that map.

I've been kinda busy lately, but... this map list isn't going to change, this time. I was planning on capping sign-ups at 8 teams and having the tournament last for a week or a weekend. I also plan on doing more than 1 of these (with less teams I think we can make it a more usual thing...)

I think the map list for the next one will depend on results / feedback from the participants in the first.

I like the idea of a week-end (two week-ends) thing. Otherwise it drags.

over 2 weekends or so might be a good idea, just keeping it under a month would make it so it wouldnt drag out

then you could have one for every quarter of the year or something just to space em out at a good distance while keeping it active

i was thinking every month at first... but if it was that often i think it would lose attention because people could just have the mentality "ah i missed this months, oh well ill just play next month".... kinda like with koth happening every week how a lot of players dont really bother showing up even if they wanna play cause they know they can just play next week

I will open sign-ups for this soon. Things I am sure of: 15 minute time limit, bo5, AC forced, 0 modified files, no timers(obviously), quad/invuln/etc.=ON.

Things open to discussion: The amount of maps in the pool(5 or 7?) and which maps.

Discuss, nominate maps, etc.

Sounds good guys, it'll be capped at 8 teams and individual threads will be made to schedule to the players' convenience.

List what maps!

I would be happy with q2dm1, ztn2dm3, tastydm2, q2dm3, and q2dm7 which is the same as last time, esp. being that it didn't finish.

Saying that you're looking for a teammate is another good thing to discuss as well :>
